The anime adaptation of Kaiju No. 8, the most popular Shōnen Jump+ series, has been belittled by fans because of its art style which goes from the manga.
On Twitter, fans of Kaiju No. 8 expressed their disappointment the approaching anime adaptation by Production I.G looks “off” when compared to original manga art style by series creator Naoya Matsumoto. Fans also asked the caliber of the Kaiju No. 8 anime character designs, fearing maybe it’s a warning sign for poor animation.
