Acclaimed horror mangaka Junji Ito’s Bloodsucking Darkness will get an active-action adaptation.
Reported by Variety, Junji Ito might find a different one of his works hit the giant screen like a dramatized adaptation. Created by Fangoria Studios, Bloodsucking Darkness would be the to begin three adaptations the studio can make from Ito’s vampire series Smashed: Junji Ito Story Collection. Shaun Howard, noted for his focus on Oculus, The Haunting of Hill House and Resident Evil, will build up the variation because the executive producer and screenwriter.
